Do we get along?
Just like anything, life is easier when people get along. Does your conversation with your potential mentor flow? Are they receptive and understanding of your reservations, questions, and concerns? Listen to yourself and you’ll know whether someone is the right mentor for you.
Will he/she support my goals?
This is an important factor. You may be looking to direct sales as a hobby, or you may be interested in jumping into doing direct sales full time. Your mentor should support you in any capacity and help you to find the tools you need to succeed.
