You may have already read why I joined my direct sales company. I joined a team of friends and quickly made new ones after I started my direct sales business. It was exciting to earn income from home while I watched my kids and it was a wonderful outlet for me to learn new skills, challenge myself, all while having some fun. One of the ways to increase your income and grow your direct sales business is by forming your own direct sales team. I have learned there are a few different ways to approach the topic of sponsoring new recruits for your team. Read on to find out the three best ways to start building a dream team of your own!

Sharing Is Caring

When you first join a direct sales company, you may feel pressure to grow your team as quickly as possible. Do not worry if this does not happen for the first 6 months or even a year! It takes some time to cultivate relationships with your customers and friends. When opportunities present themselves, go the extra step and share why you love what you do and how your direct sales company has impacted your life. You never know who is listening and you may spark a conversation that turns into your first team member!

There are many benefits to joining a direct sales company and we all know it is not only the opportunity to earn income on a flexible schedule. Find out what your potential team member is searching for. Are they a mom at home with kids and looking for a community of women to connect with? Are they someone who is working full time but, enjoys your direct sales product and wears or uses it all the time? Make a point to let these potential team members know what your company can offer them. Connections, discounts, a fun outlet, whatever it is, tailor your conversation to their needs and you will soon find them saying “yes” to joining your team.
