Maximize Your Direct Sales Paycheck: 4 Questions to Ask

One of the best perks of joining a direct sales business is the income of course! Like me, you may have signed up with your direct sales company for many reasons, one of which may be the opportunity to earn income on a flexible schedule.

But, now that you have income coming in, what are the best ways to maximize the full potential of your earnings?

Ask yourself these 4 key questions in order to maximize your direct sales paycheck.

HOW AM I PAID?

The first question to find out is simply, how do you get paid?

Does your direct sales company provide a debit card? Do they have an option for you to receive a direct deposit directly into your checking or savings accounts?

Read up on what their payout processes are and review your options. Choose the best one that works for you!

WHEN DO I GET PAID?

The next step is to learn what your direct sales company’s payout schedule is.

For instance, with Origami Owl, any sales you make from a Sunday to the next Saturday, will be paid out to you on the next Friday at the latest.

In better words, if you close your Jewelry Bar between January 1 and January 7, you will be paid on January 13th.

Find out your own direct sales company pay schedule and make notes on the weeks you would really like a large paycheck. Use this as an opportunity to organize and plan your business!

WHAT FEES ARE THERE?

With any payment processing system, there are bound to be fees.

Be proactive and read up on any fees that you may be subject to when using your company provided debit card.

Another example for you, with Origami Owl, you are subject to a $1.95 fee if you use your Payquicker Debit Card at the ATM. Add that to any ATM fees from your financial institution and that $20 bill you just took out cost you close to $5.

Bottom line, don’t throw away your hard earned money on fees.

HOW SHOULD I SPEND MY PAYCHECK?

The last thing you will want to get in control of is how you spend your direct sales income.

Have a plan for each week on where you want your paycheck to go.

With direct sales, we all find some weeks are better than others so it is very important to know the best tips on how to budget with inconsistent income coming in.

Answering these important questions once you sign up with a direct sales company will help to get you on a path to financial success.
