Blogging you say? Have my own website? What they heck are you talking about, Kristy?!

Believe me, I was in the same spot as you a little while ago. I loved working my direct sales business my way and was seeing results from the work I was doing on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

But, it was all so time-consuming! Different social media channels called for different ways to engage and I soon felt as though I was spinning my wheels.

That’s where blogging comes in.

Having my very own corner of the internet universe has allowed me to reach more people than ever! It’s 100% my voice, my creation, and I love everything about it.

So to help you, I’ve come up with a list of why you should blog about your direct sales business.

Express Your POV

When you are creating blog posts for your own website, all of it comes from you!

It’s your voice and your unique point of view. Your experience in the direct sales world is one of a kind and think about the struggles you overcame, the successes you celebrated, and there you go.

Readers will get to know you based on your own experiences and you’ll find a new audience to connect with.

100% of your content is yours.

While others are copying and sharing the same posts and graphics from their direct sales back office, you are doing your own thing and getting noticed.

You Are The Expert

You have probably answered tons of questions from friends looking to join your direct sales team or you’ve helped a fellow consultant in your company with a task that was pretty easy to do.

Take these experiences and write about them.

Think of all the questions you had when you first dipped your toe into the world of direct sales.

What did you search for on Google?

Be the expert that answers those questions and you will soon find yourself emerging as a leader in your direct sales journey.

Stand at the Top of the Social Media Pyramid

You may not have heard about the incredible direct sales coach, Brenda Ster. Seriously, check her out! She created the Direct Sales Social Media Pyramid and can you guess what platform is at the top? You got it, blogging!

The main takeaway is that there are not many direct sales consultants who blog so if you are, you stand apart from the rest of the pack.

Get out there, get noticed, and your business will grow.
