All of us in the world of direct sales knows how it can go from one piece of jewelry to a whole drawer full, or from one pair of buttery soft leggings, to 20! To feel confident in your direct sales business, it helps to have things organized and sorted out. But, how to accomplish this? I’ve rounded up some of my best direct sales organization life hacks for you to consider. Every direct seller take note, being organized will have positive effects on your business!
I’ve listed these direct sales organization life hacks by popular direct sales categories. I’m happy to add to this list so if you do not see your direct sales category represented, contact me and I’ll add it!
Jewelry
Utilize ice cube trays to neatly sort and stack earrings and any tiny piece of jewelry.
For a unique and eye-catching display, consider making a jewelry frame out of a photo frame and burlap material. Hang necklaces, bracelets, and earrings and mount it on your wall.
Makeup
Adhere a tiny magnet to the side of your makeup tools and affix a magnetic strip to a central place in your bathroom. Your tools will be organized and will properly dry after being cleaned and turned upside down.
Find pretty glass vases and fill them with tiny glass beads (coffee beans and rice work too!). This is a great way to store and hold all of your makeup tools and brushes upright.
A dollar store dishwashing rack is perfect to store eyeshadow and blush palettes. Like our jewelry direct sales friends, ice cube trays always work nicely to neatly store and stack pots of eyeshadow and other makeup creams.
Clothing
Utilize over the door shoe organizers for hanging softly rolled clothes and accessories.
Buy an inexpensive pack of CD’s and adorn with custom labels separating sizes and styles of clothes.
Find a decorative ladder like shelving system to display outfits and clothes.
Nail Art
Use albums with clear inserts for easy viewing or even use a recipe box or accordion file with a spot to create your own label and organize by color, season, or any other way!
My personal favorite is to use a pretty apothecary jar. It is clear, stylish, and will catch the attention of any guest visiting your home.
Cookware / Food
Make use of custom printable labels! Avery makes a super easy mobile app to create labels that can be printed at home.
A printable measurement chart that goes on the inside of a cabinet is very useful for any direct seller in the cookware and food business!
Bags / Purses
Utilize easy to remove wall hooks to organize and hang purses and bags wherever you have the room!
Invest in some bed risers to lift your bed high enough to slip clear plastic bins underneath to store your purses and bags.
Skincare
A neat idea is to use a revolving spice rack to display and store your bottles and skincare regime.
Like our clothing direct sales friends, use over the door shoe organizers to contain your many lotions and creams!
Health & Wellness
Repurpose silverware organization trays to hold essential oil bottles.
Turn a tiered cake stand into a unique and eye-catching way to display your oils and other health and wellness items!
