Holiday time is an exciting time in the direct sales business. Many direct sales companies release special offers, limited time promotions, and awesome holiday and seasonal products.
As a direct seller, you may be wondering how best to share these fabulous direct sales promotions with your customers without coming across spammy or pushy.
I’ve put together 4 smart strategies that will get your customers excited about your direct sales promotions and result in increased sales.
Think Like Your Direct Sales Company
You have probably noticed how your own direct sales company releases information about new collections or special offers.
They may show a portion of a graphic prompting you to guess what awesomeness is going to be revealed or they may grab your attention by teasing a special promotion while using Facebook Live or Periscope.
This is exactly what you should do for your own customer base!
Give your customers a little clue or hint to what is coming.
Start off on your Facebook Business Page with a tease and direct your customers to your Facebook Group to find out what the special offers are. Or do an impromptu Facebook Live session and conveniently ask viewers to follow you to your Facebook Group to see the full promotion. #funnelstrategy for the win!
Create A Sense of Urgency
You may have already learned from my post about Facebook parties, that timing is EVERYTHING.
When a customer thinks an offer is out there for a few days, there is more of a chance they will not take immediate action resulting in a lost sale.
But, think about this.
Offering something for a limited time whether it be 24 hours or a specific time frame on a certain day, creates an immediate sense of urgency and FOMO.
Leverage your direct sales promotions by directing your customers to specific specials on set days and times.
Make It Your Own
Graphics, I mean! Making your own direct sales promotions graphics is crucial.
Your direct sales company emails all of its consultants the same marketing materials for everyone to use.
Imagine if 1,000 (or even more) consultants post the SAME EXACT GRAPHIC at the same time on Facebook.
Yup, you’re locked in Facebook Jail and missing out on those crucial connections with your customers and losing potential sales. So how do you get around this?
Make them fun, eye-catching, and add some catchy text or descriptions to your social media posts. The more you can stand out amongst the sea of direct sales consultants the better.
Give Them Something Extra
Most direct sales promotions are truly unbelievable.
They may offer free shipping, reduced prices on products, or special gift packages. Another tip to stand out and strengthen your connection with your customers is to add value on top of those limited direct sales promotions.
I wrote a little bit about this here and even gave a few examples.
It’s important to not only provide excellent customer service, it helps to really wow your customers and provide a little something extra on top of the direct sales promotions.
Have fun with the seasonal releases and get your communities excited!
