Direct Sales Blog Success: How to Dominate Google Page 1

How I Found Direct Sales Blog Success

When I first thought about starting a blog for my direct sales business, I started to ask myself these common questions.

Why do I need a blog?

What the heck would I write about?

How do you create a direct sales blog?

After I took the plunge, invested in myself, and went through the best direct sales Blogging Bootcamp out there, I had a shiny new blog with a few articles, and I was ready to take on the world!

But, you know that saying, “if you build it they will come”? That’s not quite the case when it comes to direct sales blogging success. There are a few key tips to follow to dominate Google page 1.

First, let’s see what it looks like to be at the top of Google page 1:

So how do you get to Google page 1? Follow these 4 tips!

GREAT SEO

The first key to getting your direct sales blog posts on the first page of Google is to have great SEO. SEO what?!

SEO is simply “Search Engine Optimization”. Using great keywords and phrases that people are searching for are key to getting your content to show up on the first page of Google.

Start typing in a common question that you have about your own direct sales business or company. See what results pop up! Most likely, the posts that show on Google page 1 are the best match out there for your search term. But, remember, great SEO is nothing without…

FABULOUS CONTENT

Content is king when it comes to direct sales blogging success. The more you write and publish, the more Google and other search engines start to recognize your website as an expert and will reward you with higher Google search results!

If you are still thinking of starting your own direct sales blog journey and think that you will not have anything to write about, don’t worry! When you start down the direct sales blog path, you begin to think about the questions you can answer in the form of a blog post. I am sure you can come up with at least 5 blog posts just from thinking about the most recent questions you have had from your customers and fellow teammates!

CROSS PROMOTION

Now that you have some fabulous content and great SEO, cross promotion is another key to getting your blog posts to show at the top of Google Page 1. Pinterest is a great way to promote your blog posts and Google rewards pins that do well by placing them at the top. See how the top two results are Pinterest pins? Theses pins do very well on Pinterest which is why they show up at the top with my direct blog post link coming in at #3 on Google page 1. So when you write a blog post and have great keywords and content, the promotion you do on Pinterest makes a huge difference!

PROVIDE VALUE

Just like any social media platform, it is SO important to provide value to your readers and make a personal connection with them. With direct sales blogging, think about the posts that would be most helpful to your readers. Maybe it is styling tips for your clothing direct sales company or application tips for your makeup direct sales company. Think beyond the products and show your readers just how useful and helpful your direct sales products and company can be.

If your content is helpful and valuable, it will be shared amongst other direct sales consultants and the more your posts are shared and read and shared again, Google recognizes this and pushes your posts onto the 1st page of search results! Google LOVES websites that have readers that come back time and time again to read the latest purposeful, valuable blog post.
