The recipe is 2 tablespoons of coffee for every 6 fl oz of water.

Grind

Remember that the finer the grind, the shorter the brew time.

How to Brew Java Momma Coffee

Hot

Whether you use a traditional auto-drip coffee maker or a Keurig, it is super simple to make a fresh cup of your favorite Java Momma Coffee.

• Fill your coffee maker or Keurig with fresh filtered water
• Place freshly ground coffee into the filter or Keurig Reusable K-Cup. (measurements may vary. Consult your coffee maker for the perfect measurement)
• Press start on your coffee marker or choose the strength on your Keurig

Iced

Iced coffee is so yummy on a hot day. It’s simple, refreshing, and for a perfect cup, increase the strength of your coffee.

• Follow steps above
• Add ice (easy peasy!)
• Bonus Tip: Freeze coffee into ice cubes and use for iced coffee that will not become diluted

Cold Brew

Many ask if cold brew coffee is really different from iced coffee. The answer is yes! Cold brew coffee is less acidic and less bitter. It’s easy to make at home as well!

• Using any container or a special Cold Brew Maker, using a ratio of 1:8 (coffee to water ratio) place the coffee grounds at the bottom of the container.
• Cover with cold filtered water
• Stir to combine
• Leave to steep in the fridge for 18-24 hours.
• Strain through a sieve and repeat until all coffee grounds are out.
• Enjoy straight or add a little bit of cream for a smooth taste!

French Press

I love French press coffee. It is quick to brew and feels luxurious to make and drink. Using a simple French press coffee maker, follow these simple steps!

• Boil about 12oz of filtered water (this is just enough to fill the French press)
• Use 2 Tbsp of freshly ground coffee (course, even grind) and place at the bottom of the French press
• Pour about 2 oz of the boiled water to start.
• Gently stir the coffee grounds and let sit for 30 seconds
• Pour the remainder of the boiled water
• Leave the coffee to steep for 4 minutes
• Gently press the French press down and serve immediately

Pour Over

Simplicity at its best, brewing coffee with the pour-over method is like having your own mini coffee maker at your desk.

• Boil 12oz of filtered water
• Add coarse ground coffee into the filter
• Pour a small amount of boiled water over the coffee grounds in a circular motion until covered
• Slowly pour the remaining boiling water
• Wait 3-4 minutes for coffee to filter through and enjoy!
