How to Add the Shop Now Button to Your Facebook Business Page

Add the Shop Now Button

Sometimes it really is the simple things that make a HUGE impact on your business.

First rule of Facebook, you want to have your direct sales or blog information front and center when someone visits your profile.

List your public Facebook Business Page on your personal profile to easily funnel lurkers to your page.

Now, what do you want visitors to do?

Most business pages have a “Message” button front and center.

But did you know you can add another Call To Action button on your Page?

Funnel your page visitors where you want them to go! Funnel strategy is essential to breaking outside of your warm network in direct sales.

Follow the steps below to add the shop now button to your Facebook business page.

Step 1: Use a Desktop

With as many changes Facebook has, editing your Facebook business page is easier when you use an internet browser versus the app.

When you hover over your current “Message” button, you will see the option to “Edit Button”

  • Contact Us
  • Send Message
  • Call Now

Shop Now: This button can take visitors directly to your shopping site. You also have the choice to direct visitors to your Offers section of your business page too.

Download Your App or Play Your Game: If you are a developer of an app or game, using this call to action button will send visitors directly to your app or game product.

Step 3: Save and Promote

If you chose the “Shop Now” button, you will be prompted to enter the direct shopping website link OR you can send visitors to the shop section of your business page.

Hi Carl, is your Facebook Page brand new? Sometimes it takes 48+ hours before a new Facebook Page has the option to set up a shop.
