Ah scheduling.
I am a true list maker, organizer, and scheduler.
When it comes to both of my direct sales businesses and my blog, I thrive on scheduling my social media posts.
This allows me to truly have the time to focus on more important income-producing tasks each week.
And as any great blogger will do, I’m sharing my social media scheduling tips with YOU!
You will be more efficient at sharing your awesome blog content which means spending more time focusing on creating posts and products that serve your readers.
What Content to Post on Your Social Media Channels
Followers are looking for posts that make them think, help answer a question they have, or make them laugh.
Sharing your blog posts, your products, funny memes on social media can help to organically grow your followers.
When I look at 30 days of scheduling, I break things down like this:
- Blog Posts – 15 days
- Products / Affiliate Recommendations – 5 days
- Memes – 4 days
- Personality – 4 days
- Quotes – 2 days
You may feel having half of your month focused on your own blog posts is too much, but believe me when I say this.
Not every follower will see all of those posts.
They may see 2-3 of those pop up in their feed.
Consistently sharing you content helps build your blog presence overall and you should never hesitate putting your badass content out there.
Social Media Platforms
Planning out your content for different platforms can feel absolutely paralyzing.
Different platforms calls for different images, sizes of graphics, text, and rules surrounding clickable links.
Having a Facebook Business Page makes it easy to quickly share your content. Quick descriptions, links that automatically bring up an image means you can get 30-days of content scheduled in no time.
Using the same content ratio mentioned above, adapt your post ideas to Instagram.
Instagram requires more time as you need to create a new graphic or photo for each day of the month. If you need help following a visually appealing pattern, be sure to read this.
Schedulers
If you use a scheduler like CinchShare, you will find it easy to quickly schedule 30-days of content.
Another option is to use the Facebook Native Scheduler.
When you navigate to your Facebook Business Page, click Publishing Tools > Scheduled Posts and start crafting your posts.
For Instagram scheduling, I highly suggest using Planoly.
You can schedule 30-days of content for free and visually see what your Instagram feed will look like over the course of those 30 posts.
Hashtag shortcuts and an automatic posting option are other great features of Planoly.
If you’re ready to take charge and schedule out the next 30 days, be sure to start with a calendar.
Calendar Planner
When I set out to plan 30 days of content at a time, I go back to basics.
I print out a monthly calendar and fill in the blanks.
It’s the fastest way to organize your content quickly and when it is time for you to sit and schedule posts, you can quickly move from one day to the next.
To help, I have created 12 printable monthly calendars for you to use.

Hi Kristy
When you say 15 blog posts are those new blog posts that you create or are you linking to existing blog posts, as people may not have seen them before?
Hi Louise! Yes, recycle content because more often than not, your followers have not seen everything you post. Say you have a total of 45 blog posts, it would take 3 months to cycle through them. Hope this helps! ?
